Introduction

This help document is intended to serve as a reference guide about the basic functionality of this application to support both new and established users.  The document will address general set-up questions along with an in depth look at the community tools and supporting features. The guide will also provide additional help on administration tools that support founder and administrator roles.

This site is an interactive web-based application that allows a group of people to communicate and exchange information over the Internet in private and secure areas. Within each area, also known as an online community, participants are provided access to a suite of powerful tools that enable a group to effectively get organized, share knowledge and communicate.

This help file is divided into five major sections:

  Gain a quick understanding of what functionality exists in an online community.

  Browse frequently asked questions on common tasks such as joining a community and finding lost passwords.

• Community Tools
  Functional help on all community tools.  Although basic functions are meant to be intuitive, you can use this section to learn about the advanced functions and the new ways to use all of the powerful tools in your communities.

• Administration Tools
  Community Founders, Administrators and Content Moderators will benefit from this detailed functional help section on all available administration tools.
