An article is a stand-alone piece of textual information that can include a link to an external website. All articles have a heading and introductory description.

Articles can be made to include a full body of text and/or a link to an external website. Linking to an external website avoids the re-publication of readily accessible content while providing an organized view of "web-clippings" shared by the community. The Article tool is also ideal for copying and pasting externally-found text while providing a web-link as its reference.
