Exporting a Database

Database export allows for the rapid download of database content. You are given the option to export to a comma-delimited, tab-delimited or Microsoft Excel file.

Select a format for the export of the database, then press the button labeled "Export". When prompted to save or open the file, select save. You will have the opportunity to select a location on your computer to save the file.

Rename the suggested filename with a meaningful name that includes the suggested extension for the selected file format.

Please be patient after pressing the export button. Large lists will take a while to prepare and to download. To instantly view exported MS Excel spreadsheets within the browser window, Internet Explorer and MS Excel 2000 are required.
