A basic search can be performed on the summary table and search result views of a database. A search box pre-populated with the text "Search current view" is used to search for records displayed in the current view.
To search for records, enter text into the text field and press the button labeled "Filter". Any records in the currently displayed view containing the text entered, will be shown in the search results. Only text shown in the currently displayed columns can be searched. Columns, which have been hidden from being displayed on the summary view are not searchable. To perform a more extensive search, see the section on advanced search.
