This section provides an overview of each possible filter, which can be used to search for records in a database. Some filters can be applied to more than one type of database field.

Contains
Compares the entered or selected text with each record. Matched results will be those whose respective field, contains the text being searched.
Contains Any
Compares each text segment, or option selected with each record. Matched results will be those whose respective field, contains at least one of the values being searched.
Important:
To apply the contains any filter to a text field, delimit each
value with a comma. Ex: entering (John,
Alice, Rebecca, David) without the brackets, will return all records containing
at least one of the names.
Does Not Contain
Compares the text entered, or option selected with each record. Matched results will be those whose respective field, does not contain the value being searched.
Contains All
Compares the options selected with each record. Matched results will be those whose respective field, contains all of the options being searched.
Starts With
Compares the text entered with the beginning of each record's respective field. Matched results will be those whose respective field, begins with the text being searched.
Ends With
Compares the text entered with the end portion of each record's respective field. Matched results will be those whose respective field, ends with the text being searched.
Equal To
Compares the entered or selected value with each record. Matched results will be those whose respective field, is equivalent to the value being searched.
< x characters
Records matched will be those whose respective field, contains less than "x" number of characters.
x characters
Records matched will be those whose respective field, contains exactly "x" number of characters.
> x characters
Records matched will be those whose respective field, contains more than "x" number of characters.
Important:
Searching formatted text fields based upon number of characters, includes
all HTML tags as characters in the summation.
Greater than
Records matched will be those whose number field, is greater than the value searched.
Less than
Records matched will be those whose number field, is less than the value searched.
Not equal to
Records matched will be those whose respective field, is not equivalent to the value searched.
No value
Records matched will be those whose respective field, does not have a selected or entered value.
Today
Records matched will be those whose date field, is equal to the current day.
Past x hours
Records matched will be those whose date field value, occurred within the past "x" number of hours.
Past x days
Records matched will be those whose date field value, occurred within the past "x" number of days.
Next x days
Records matched will be those whose date field value, will occur within the next "x" number of days.
On ( exact )
Records matched will be those whose date field value, is equivalent to the date specified.
On or Before
Records matched will be those whose date field value, is equivalent to, or occurred before the specified date.
On or After
Records matched will be those whose date field value, is equivalent to, or occurs after the specified date.
Is
Records matched will be those whose member type field, is equivalent to the member, which has been selected from the pop-up window.
Is not
Records matched will be those whose member type field, is not equivalent to the member, which has been selected from the pop-up window (i.e. all members other than the member selected).
Is Me
Records matched will be those whose member type field, is equivalent to the member executing the search. Selecting a member from the pop-up window has no effect.
None Selected
Records matched will be those whose member field is blank.
