CommunityZero®Help
Community
Explorer Accessible from the What's New page and the left-hand navigation bar of a community, the Community Explorer tool provides a fast way to access all community content.
The Explorer interface is similar to the Windows Explorer you may use to browse files on your computer. It provides a window with two frames. The left frame lists available folders while the right frame lists the content of the selected folder.
Folders listed in the left frame will either have a minus or plus symbol
next to each folder. A plus
symbol indicates the folder
contains sub-folders. You can click the plus symbol to expand the folder
tree. The frame will then refresh to show the folder's sub-folders. You
can continue to expand the folder tree as needed. Click the minus
symbol to collapse a folder branch.
Next to each folder name is a number in brackets, ex: (19). The number indicates how many content items are contained in the folder. It does not indicate if there is content found in it's sub-folders.
A red number indicates if there are new or unread items in the folder. It again does not account for new items that may be contained in sub-folders.
To view the contents of a folder, click the folder's name. The right-hand frame will refresh to display its contents.
If you select a calendar, it will show you all of the upcoming entries. In the right-hand frame, you can choose to change the starting date for the search of upcoming entries.
Click on an item listed within the content in the right-hand frame to view the item in detail. The item will appear in main window (the window from which the Explorer was opened).
