The Files area enables members to store and share any type of computer file. Word documents, Adobe Acrobat PDF files, software programs, video and audio files can all be stored securely. Files can be organized in user-defined folders. Like all tools, restrictions can be set to allow or disallow access. For example, file folders could be set to only allow uploading or downloading of files if desired. Files can be searched by name and description. Another feature available to files is version control: revised files can be versioned to track changes.
